Celebrating Earth Day 2025

Earth Day is just around the corner, and to celebrate, we'd like to take some time to talk about our used gear marketplace, the LIVDN closet.

Here, you'll find our used gear, usually sourced from general repairs and exchanges that arrive in used condition, along with one-off samples. Beyond that, past customers are looking to sell or swap their own LIVSN gear on the platform.

We believe secondhand markets play an often overlooked and important role in the outdoor apparel industry, and want to help facilitate this option for those looking for new(slightly used or repaired) clothes.

If you need a little extra encouragement to try secondhand, from now until midnight on April 22nd, the LIVDN closet is 22% off for all brand-direct products.

Save 22% on Cost, 42% on Impact

While our products are made with reduced-impact materials, the lowest-impact clothes are the ones already in your closet, and beyond that, those in someone else's.

We aren't alone with this train of thought, as the Journal of Circular Economy states, "We found that within the same behaviour scenario, embracing second-hand consumption instead of buying new clothes leads to up to 42% lower impacts for climate change and cumulative energy demand."

Product impact is an area we are looking to improve, and if you haven't already, could you take a look at our 2025 Impact Report to see where we currently stand. Keeping garments in use for longer is a critical part of our brand's mission, and we can accomplish this through care resources, our repair program, and opportunities for resale.

Some Quick Numbers on Our Progress Thus Far

In 2024, we moved 221 pieces through this program, split evenly between brand direct and peer-to-peer. We've repaired hundreds of pants for individuals and resale, and our shirts, jackets, and overalls have been added as well.

We're excited to have our secondhand market platform gather momentum like this, so if you need a new piece of gear for spring, fall, or anywhere between, give LIVDN a look.
