Our Fabric

Our custom EcoFlex Canvas is an 8oz duck canvas made with 58% GOTS Certified Organic Cotton, 40% Recycled Polyester, and 2% spandex.The fabric has has a distinctive cotton hand-feel with polyester content that serves to strengthen the fabric and help it dry faster. The spandex allows for a full range of motion. 

Expanded Media Pocket

New for V3, we expanded the left thigh pocket to become a full sized media pocket.

Articulated Knees

Knee articulation, accomplished by sewing darts into the edges of the front panel around the knee, allows for full range of movement.

Zippered Security Pockets

Zippered back pockets and a left front hidden security pocket keep your mind on the trail, not on losing your stuff.

Subtle EDC Pockets

Our right thigh twin sideseam welt pocket keeps your knife or other every day carry (EDC) items accessible and out of the way.

Leg Roll-up System

We created our own tab-and-button system that keeps the pants in place and added reflective tape so you are safe during low light situations.

Diamond Gusset

Our reinforced crotch gusset allows for freedom of movement and prevents blowouts.

Functional pants for work and play

I am a construction superintendent in Arizona, and have long used the Ecotrek pants as my daily wear for work. The time came to go up in size (whoops...) and the relaxed fit flex pants had just dropped, so I gave them a shot.

I have two minor complaints. These pants are slightly roomier than my preference in the thighs, but only just. I am 5'10" and just shy of 200lbs, with an active build. Someone else might find the extra room welcome. They are also about two inches longer than I would expect a 32" inseam to be, as odd as that sounds. I haven't measured them, but they just feel too long, to the point where I will have to get them hemmed.

That being said, these pants have been a pleasure to wear, even in 115 degree heat outside for hours at a time. Love the roomier pocket on the left side with the reinforced bottom seam (my ecotreks failed at that seam often).

I will likely continue buying these same pants to fill out my work wardrobe, despite the issues above.
