Tip: If you wear a 32 in most pants, you'll likely wear a 32 in LIVSN pants. For Men's Ecotrek Pants, we recommend sizing up one waist size.

HOW TO MEASURE BOTTOMS

Prep for measuring: Grab your best-fitting pair of pants or shorts. Button them up, if applicable. Spread them flat on a hard surface (not a bed or couch) and remove any wrinkles or slack.

Use a soft measuring tape. Compare your measurements to the chart above. Measure twice, buy once.

1. WAIST: Measure across the width of the pants/shorts at the center of the waistband. Double this number to get the full measurement.

2. FRONT RISE: Measure from the crotch seam or top seam of the crotch gusset, to the top of the waistband. NOTE: Crotch gussets make comparing rise to non-gusseted pants tricky.

3. HIP: Measure across the hip area, 3 inches above the crotch seam or top seam of the crotch gusset. Double this number to get the full measurement.

4. THIGH: Measure across the thigh area, 1 inch below the crotch seam or top seam of the crotch gusset. Double this number to get the full measurement.

5. OUTSEAM: We do not recommend using this measurement for sizing. Use inseam to determine proper length.

6. KNEE: Measure across the knee area, 16 inches above the bottom hem. Double this number to get the full measurement.

7. INSEAM: Measure from the crotch seam or top seam of the crotch gusset to the bottom hem.

8. LEG OPENING: Measure the width of the leg opening from one side to the other. Double this number to get the full measurement.
